Last but not least, you can meet awesome writers! If you’re lucky, you’ll get to do so on the feast of St. Dominic, and then you can celebrate with a dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s (because they’re close and have enough tables for your band of hungry writers). Afterwards you can snap a pic of a present day Embrace, the symbol of the friendship that endures between Dominicans and Franciscans! Observe a demonstration of this by lay Dominican Musings on my Faith and lay Franciscan Franciscan Mom.

  1. It was great meeting you! I’m looking forward to settling down with your book in my hands tonight–and my iPod as well, so I can cue up the proper songs for each chapter. (Promo suggestion: make a Spotify playlist with the chapter-title songs)

Just checked our favorite pizzeria’s menu and they DO make tomato pie. They have it in thin crust or Sicilian. I’m just not sure thin crust could handle it! But I’ll be trying it soon, I’m sure.

Also, Bird Paradise is in Burlington and it is the yellow building with paintings on the outside. Birds Exotic is the one in my town. Not sure which one your family visited.
